If you can’t get enough of me, and I’m sure that’s the case, you can now follow me at Twitter. I’m @JenniferLarson. Yes, yes, I know. It’s a very creative handle. I labored long and hard to come up with it.
Actually, with a common name like Jennifer Larson, it’s pretty unusual that I even got my real name as my Twitter username. I can’t get anything even close to my real name to use as a Gmail address. There apparently is a plethora of Jennifer Larsons out there (in fact, I even had one comment here, recently–hi, fellow Jennifer Larson!). And they’ve taken all the good email addresses. Who knew? Okay, probably anyone who was born in the 1970s because they would have had a billion Jennifers in their class at school every year. They might have guessed.
This is the part of the conversation, by the way, where my husband would usually interrupt to say, “Well, if you’d just taken my last name instead…” And then I’d have to respond with a “But I already have an established byline under Jennifer Larson.” However, as I’ve already established, I managed to actually get a Twitter username that incorporates an easily understood version of my name. Which would render that whole conversation (blessedly) moot. Thanks, other Jennifer Larsons, for leaving that username for me.
